Gaia Forest Retreat is a small nature retreat and eco-hostel in northern Portugal, close to Rubiaes and about 1 km from the Camino de Santiago route. The official site describes two wooden cabins nestled in oak forest, with views across the hills of Paredes de Coura and surrounding flora and fauna. Its offer is centred on disconnecting from everyday stressors and reconnecting with nature, with themes such as nature accommodation, creative retreat time, farm stay, gastronomy and gentle recovery in fresh surroundings. Note that the site states it is not taking bookings for summer 2026.
